For iPhone · runs, walks and hikes
Your track, even when GPS fails
Lima Track records your run, walk or hike and rebuilds the parts where GPS was jammed or spoofed.

What it does
GPS can be jammed or spoofed: your phone loses its position, or shows one you aren't at. Running apps then record a straight line across the map, a jump to another city, or nothing at all.
- Good GPS
- Where the phone said you were
- Rebuilt
Notices
Lima Track checks every GPS position against how you actually move, and warns you while you run when GPS is lost or looks spoofed.
Keeps counting
Distance continues from your steps, also where there is no GPS at all: indoors, on an indoor track or underground. Steps, motion and altitude are recorded the whole time, also with the screen locked.
Rebuilds
After the activity, the bad parts are rebuilt from your steps and the phone's heading, using a stride length learned from your good GPS.
Lima Track is meant to save the track of a run you've already started, not to tell you where it's safe to run. Stay safe!

You choose what to save
Save the result to Apple Health, where Fitness shows it like any other workout, or export a file. Rebuilt parts are marked in the GPX. If you also record the workout on your Apple Watch, Lima Track adds its heart rate from Health.
A rebuilt track is an estimate: it follows your steps and direction, not a satellite fix, so it drifts a little with time. Short losses come out close to the real route; long ones less so.
Private by design
Your location, routes, motion and Health data stay on your phone. They leave it only when you save to Health or export a file.
